Stargate: Horizon is a script based series started in 2004 and is currently the longest script-based fan fiction series with 4 seasons, 86 episodes, and the 87th due on January 21st.

Alex Rubit started the project and wrote several episodes but there are 13 writers who have participated at least in one episode:

The production crew is composed by Alex Rubit as executive producer and Mike Coakley as co-executive producer. The staff include also Colin Sanderson and Justin McNeill (supervising producer), Marc Broadbent and Cindy Clark (producer), Rachel Cooper (co-producer) and Vincent Dedoyard (line producer).
The season 4 break[]
The season 4 production was stopped during a long time between episodes 16 Extreme Measures and 17 Seeds of Time. On 27 January 2009, Alex Rubit update the SGH website and launch a new Blog announcing "start work on finishing what will be episode 17 of Season Four"[1]. The news was immediatly relayed in the GateWorld forum[2].
Translations[]
The series is translated in Czech and in Slovak.
In Czech, Hvězdná brána: Horizont is translated mainly by Arana but also Ladislav ‚Raynor, Loukota, Jack, Cra'ker, Jelda. Actually, Horizon is available in Czech until start of season 4.
In Slovak, Hviezdnej Brány: Horizont is translated by Namuras, jj and Rastíček. Only some episodes of seasons 1 and 2 are in the foreign language.
