This non-profit site is hosted by Wikia and use the MediaWiki software. The content is under GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) or Creative Commons for some images. In this way, any free registered member of Wikia can contribute to this encyclopedia following the recommendations from the wiki's administrators.
